Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join the Ole Tyme Produce team. This Sales Representative will be responsible to sell company products and achieve year over years sales growth within gross margin targets.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Drive new customer sales with site visits and promoting company products and service
- Identify and locate new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls
- Apply knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers
- Daily communication to Customer Service regarding short sheet for product recoveries, substitutions, and specialty orders for customers
- Educate customers on proper produce storage, optimum cooler storage, and product handling techniques
- Utilize CRM to develop all target, active, and closeable accounts
- Assist Warehouse Operations Manager with emergency needs for customers
- Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure products are distributed properly
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing and/or sales
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Team player
