WEATHER ALERT:
Strong high winds and freezing temperatures are expected to impact Yuma and Mexico over the next few days, creating challenges for production in both regions.

What to Expect:

Most crops in the field are likely to show defects such as fringe burn and tip burn, affecting quality and shelf life.
Afternoon harvests have been cut short due to strong winds reaching 25-30 mph.
Ice delays are anticipated from tomorrow through Saturday as overnight temperatures drop into the mid-30s.
Quality issues are expected to persist for several weeks.
We recommend closely monitoring inventories and aligning them closely with sales projections to minimize waste.
