UPDATE: Bell Peppers

Green bell pepper market is escalating. Transition and previous rain events have tightened overall supplies, especially on choice grade.

California is gapping between Coachella to Bakersfield with that said it leaves us with one grower for the next few days
Georgia is still in their crown pepper, not a lot of choice grade available
- Heavy rain a few weeks ago caused some bloom drop and delays on crops in Georgia, including the start of the North Carolina season
Eastern demand has shifted over to CA, putting further upward pressure on markets
Colored bells are slightly higher as Western Mexico is finished, leaving the deal primarily to the California Desert and Canada

Expectations: Expect higher prices into next week with elevated prices until we fully transition to newer growing areas.
