Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Iceberg continues to be very limited in both the Salinas Valley and Mexico and most suppliers are now sold out for the week. Supplies are under budget as fields are growing slowly with the cooler weather. Head size and weight are lighter than normal. Quality is good, but the solidity is slightly softer due to the slow growth. Mexico has been battling weather conditions along with pest pressures. The Salinas Valley is battling the cooler weather and slow growth. Many suppliers are not harvesting to allow the product to size up.

Expectations:

Tight supplies in the Salinas Valley, Santa Maria and Mexico for the next 2 weeks.
Suppliers will be watching # to get through this shortage of product.

Suppliers may need to sub into outside labels to fulfill orders.
