Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Squash supplies have tightened, causing market prices to rise. Cold weather has reduced yields as both coasts shift to southern growing regions.

East:

Georgia's season is ending.
Florida's production is increasing to meet stronger demand, but supply remains light.
Cooler temperatures and rain in Florida’s forecast will slow production through next week.

West:

California's season has finished.
Sonora is experiencing cold temperatures, and as the season moves south to Sinaloa, supplies remain limited.
Sinaloa's harvest has started, but significant volume is not expected until the first week of December.

Expectation: Market prices are expected to remain elevated for the next two weeks.
