Dear Ole Tyme Produce Customers:

BLUEBERRIES: We continue to be in a severe shortage on this Item We should see some relief in mid to late October coming out of Central Mexico and Peru. Here is what we can expect moving forward.

Quality on the remainder of the Pacific Northwest storage product is very poor. Defects will include soft fruit with occasional mildew or mold.
Shelf life will be very limited.
Shippers are trying to set product these lower quality expectations with distributors prior to shipment.
Peruvian air freight and offshore fruit in New Jersy and Florida is very limited and expensive, but the quality is good.
