Dear Ole Tyme Produce Customers:

Cantaloupe 9 and 12 supplies are limited in all regions. The shortage is due to limited Offshore Melons and Domestic/Mexican Melons covering other regions. Suppliers are holding to contracted commitments, and market orders will be priced accordingly. There will be better sizing and availability the week of May 27th.

Specialty variety melons will be available the week of May 20th and priced on availability.

Expectations:

Supplies will be tight until better sizing of Domestic Melons are available.
Suppliers will be watching # to get through this shortage of product.
Suppliers may need to sub into outside labels to fulfill orders.
Market rates may not be available until the day of loading.
