Dear Ole Tyme Produce Customers:

Shippers are reaching the end of the domestic grape deal. Some California shippers are done for the season now. Others will have red seedless thru Christmas. Meanwhile, the imports have started on both coasts at higher prices. Peru and Brazil are the countries currently shipping. Chile should start about the second week of January. The new crop grapes that have already landed are mostly newer varieties and the fruit is very nice. We recommend switching to the imports as soon as market conditions allow.

  • Domestic grapes done in 2-3 weeks.
  • Imports already arriving on both coasts at higher prices.
  • Quality on the imports is very good.
  • Switch to imports as soon as your local market conditions allow.

If you have any additional questions, please reach out to your Sales Representative or our Customer Service team.

Thank you,
