Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

The offshore melon season is nearing its end. While some fruit is still available, the market remains strong due to tightening supplies.

Current Availability:

Mexican cantaloupes and honeydews are currently available at open market pricing.

Expectations:

Demand for cantaloupe has risen, driven by contract commitments and retail promotions.
Offshore melon supplies are running low, and some shippers are already sold out.
- Contract orders are being prioritized for remaining offshore fruit.
Availability is limited—pre-booking is highly recommended.
To fill orders, suppliers may need to substitute with alternative labels.
Suppliers will continue to fulfill based on 6-week averages and existing contracts.
Shipments begin as early as Monday, May 26th from Yuma, AZ.
