Dear Ole Tyme Produce Customers:

Watermelon supplies remain tight as the industry awaits Domestic supply. The increased demand is due to growing issues in Honduras and lower yields in Mexico.

Suppliers are prioritizing contracts and holding to averages until additional supplies are available.

Very light supplies are expected for the next couple of weeks.
Prices will continue to go up through Easter weekend.

Suppliers may need to use outside labels to cover contracts/market orders
